Shantel Hazzard, M.S. Pre-licensed Therapist
Child - Lifespan Therapist
I am a passionate outpatient therapist located in Seaford, DE, committed to making a lasting impact in the lives of children, adolescents, and adults. With a solid academic foundation, including a bachelor’s degree in psychology (2019) and a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling (2024). I bring both professional expertise and a warm, approachable demeanor to every session. I believe in therapy as a journey of growth, self-discovery, and healing.
I enjoy working with a wide range of individuals, from young children navigating developmental milestones to adults striving for personal or emotional balance. Therapy is not only about addressing issues but also about celebrating successes, building resilience, and creating a space where each client feels empowered to lead the life they truly want.
A goal I strive for is: to help individuals live healthier, more functional, and, above all, blessed lives. Whether it’s through play with a child, solution-focused approaches with adolescents, or guiding adults toward mindful self-care. It’s all about equipping clients with the tools they need to thrive. I believe that life’s challenges can be met with courage and creativity, and that through therapy, everyone has the potential to lead a life filled with joy, purpose, and fulfillment.
Therapy doesn’t have to feel like a chore—it can be a positive, even uplifting, part of a person’s life, where clients can feel safe to explore their emotions and experiences openly. I’m committed in making sure my clients feel comfortable, engaged, and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.
